| Lets check in with Angel Adams, the New Socialist Woman. Last we heard, she and her 15 children by at least three fathers, who had been living at public expense at an Economy Inn in Tampa, had been provided with a rent-free six-bedroom home. Rather than show appreciation, Adams continued to moo indignantly that the world owes her. This is what shes up to now: A woman who is eight-months pregnant with her sixteenth child is claiming police brutality after she says Tampa officers used a stun gun on her. Tampa police arrested Angel Adams, 39, this week and charged... |
Firearms possession law will stand in Tampa during RNC(FL)

| It is said that "an armed society is a polite society". That is true as long as everyone understands and appreciates a citizen's right to bear arms, per the Constitution, and the right to concealed carry, per a majority of state laws across the US, including Florida. It also helps to be in tune with the danger of provoking use of a gun, which many of our newsmakers today (namely, those of the video game generation) fail to comprehend. Unfortunately, as suggested by their usual senselessness, they live in a surreal world where life begins again at the push of... |

Water Guns Banned, Handguns Allowed at GOP Convention

| In the politically-charged and likely protest-filled streets of Tampa, Fla., during the Republican National Convention in August, water guns will be strictly prohibited. Concealed handguns, on the other hand, will be perfectly legal. Florida Gov. Rick Scott said this week that banning handguns from downtown Tampa during the convention, as the city's Mayor Bob Buckhorn requested, "would surely violate the Second Amendment." ... Buckhorn said last month that the state law, which prohibits the city from temporarily banning handguns, makes the city "look silly" because officials can prohibit water guns but not real ones, The Associated Press reported. "There is... |

The cartoon, shown below, depicted a Jewish man with a big nose and large beard driving a car with the symbol of the United Nations as the wheel and U.S. President Barack Obama's head as the stick shift. Within five hours the cartoon received more than 400 comments, mostly from outraged users, including many Israelis. "Putting this on Holocaust day just makes it even more sickening than it already is," one user said. "This is an outrage. All OWS... |

| TRUE COLORS TIME If you listened closely to Sarah tonight on Levins program, she was pretty much endorsing Romney. I suspect she will hold her cards, wont jump into the fray until the convention, where she will get maximum exposure for her particular agenda. And then she will play the good citizen role and support Romney. Ive been worried about her since she showed up so ungraciously during the summer to rain on the parade of some of the more conservative candidates The same applies to her as everyone else... Not fighting, not helping Newt right now, is the same... |

Michael Krull, a former advance man and a college friend of Callista Gingrichs who took over the campaign after a staff exodus in June, was replaced last weekend by Vince Haley, who has worked for Gingrich for nine years and currently is deputy campaign manager and policy director. Mark Shields joked about how it would be unfair to pick to someone who hasn't slogged across the country and then made a fat joke: "Chris Christie, have a little ice cream, and come in." There's just one problem: If they do, it might turn out that no one gets the number of delegates needed to win the nomination outright. Stumping in Birmingham, Alabama, Mitt Romney continued his Southern charm offensive, celebrating an endorsement from the country band Alabama. | Everything seems very serious, very important, very consequential now. The earlier debates months ago were looser. The eight or nine candidates would bounce onto the stage. Romney would greet Bachmann with a big mwah. Cain would smile brightly. The atmosphere was almost festive. But now weve gotten down to the nitty-gritty crunch time. Newt immediately links himself to Reagan. Remember when pundits swore the Gipper couldnt win? he says. He also points out that Reagans economic program was labeled voodoo economics. That was Bush 41s the future Bush 41s line, of course. But the 1980... |
